Hated by lawn growers but still very pretty.The spots are the ubiquitous pine pollen

A nice close up of this common but lovely flower – and I believe that they always make a welcome colour splash upon the eye, so who would regret having a few in their lawn?

That pollen must be an allergy sufferer's nightmare, all sorts of tree and blossom pollen are thick in the air over here at the moment too. A lovely flower and close study of it!
