Hi

I’d agree with the others a cracking shot – a little bit of eye candy

All the best
Matthew

As others have stated, this is a great shot - beautiful lighting, great BG colors, terrific detail, the list goes on and on! But one thing really bugged me about the image was that rectangular flash highlight in the lizard's eye. It just doesn't look "natural" to me like everything else in the photo. It's an easy fix however, and it just may be a subjective thing, but personally I saw it immediately. I prefer to see a more round sun looking catch light. Congrats on a wonderful shot!

Thanks Mark and KK for the kind comments.:)

Mark, Agree that rectangular shapes are not found in nature so yes it looks odd...if I have used my Gary Fong diffuser which is round in shape, the catchlight would be round.:)

Beautiful job Darren. Your lighting and details, especially in the eye, put this over the top.
An easy choice for Editor's Picks.

Thanks Ron. Of all the shots I took of this lizard, this one worked best.
