Got this one hovering for some nectar ;) This fellow used to come along for feeding & then run away somewhere in the bushes. Then it would come backing again. As if resting after all the efforts of flying since this one is a pretty big butterfly. So, on following this guy closely I found that it did rest for a while before making its next flight in search of food. ;) Here is the one resting (Open wing) Hope you enjoy it.

Hi

I think I might be tempted to try a slightly closer crop, which would move the subject off centre – but it all taste related. And almost certainly the high quality of this image will appeal to all tastes – I think this is excellent

All the best
Matthew

Excellent macro- A fine exposure and beautiful colors on this one- Agree with a tad slighter crop on the left side- Great job, Fabio

Hi Omkar,
your patience and persistent, to capture this image, was certainly worth the time. Your image holds an exquisite quality. The fine green background compliments the red flowers and the fine detail of the stamens of the flower relate to fine details in the butterfly. A interesting eastern composition of shallow space and shape.

Thanks for sharing,

John

Thanks for the response. I am so glad that the picture was liked. :D Will try cropping as suggested to bring the butterfly slightly off-center & see if it looks even better :)
