It has been a couple years since I printed. The heads are clogged and probably need replacement. What is the best printer replacement for 13x19 printing ? HP no longer is in the photo printing biz as far as I can tell. Looking for best quality and economy on consumables. Canon, Epson...what models ? Thanks in advance.

Take a look at the new Epson P600.

It's just been released but looks interesting as the prints are supposed to be "eye popping".
No personal experience but saw a pre-release video in LuLa that made it look very interesting.
Here's the Epson version of the Photokima video I saw.

Christian,

HP is just not in the small photo printer business any more... I moved from the B9180 to an Epson 3880. I looked at the Canon 13in printer but roughly the same size as the 3880 and with this I can print 17"

Quality is great and support for papers is awesome.

Ink is expensive (was free for the B9180), and wastes quite a bit when switch from and to photo black so I batch my rag prints.

overall I am really happy with the Epson.

I still use the B8850 (w/ aftermarket bulk inks) for printing my office giveaway calendars etc, but for true fine art prints, I've moved to the Canon Pixma Pro10, this just blows away the HP. I would put the Canon's IQ above that of my Designjet Z3100ps

Cheers
