Another one is Image Wizards. I got their free sample pack and am placing an order. New customers get (2) 16x24 in float mount for $199. A little pricier than MagnaChrome but they provide a proof as part of the price.

I just got the Bayphoto metallic sampler pack. They look awesome. I purposely sent a high contrast underwater image. The 2 "Sheen" finished, where they let the tone of the aluminum come through renders better shadow detail and also imparts a near 3D look to the image.

Anybody thinking about metal prints from one of the reputable players, I recommend should go ahead & give it a try. I've been using Image Wizards myself, and couldn't be happier with their customer service and results. Well, okay if they decided to move their operation to Calgary, I would be happier. :)

The right images paired with an appropriate surface are just flat-out stunners for my taste in detail, depth and tone. People I've shown them to are typically blown away...

I've got a show coming up and I'm trying to decide between metal prints and fuji crystal archive glossy mounted by DuraPlaq. I've never seen a metal print, but here are a couple that I'll be using; is this the right kind of image for metal?

I just had a couple dye infused metal prints done by H&H Color in KC, MO. They came out great. Much better pricing than MagnaChrome or Bay. If you register on their site you can see pricing and they will give $50 off your first order. Free FEDEX 2 day shipping as well

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier. Yes, I think either of those images would do well on metal. I know some people think a glossy print with a good mounting is just as good as a good metal print; personally I give an edge to metal. (Especially in the case of my favorite, which remains Image Wizards.) The best way to find out for yourself is to try some test images on both metal and glossy paper prints, and see what you think...
