Already know much of Geres, and on my last visit there i took the time to explore a little better Vilarinho das Furnas area. Because the last winter wasn`t much rainy, the dam's water level dropped considerably, which allowed me to see part of the ruins of what was the ancient village of Vilarinho of the Furnas and took me to a small stream that runs down the mountain, forming small pools until you reach the dam itself.

This is where I focused my energies, the scenery is breathtaking with the stream to flow into the mountain. The Geres will never stop surprising .. it`s definitely one of the most beautiful spots of Portugal (National Park Peneda-Geres).

A very nice shot, it looks like the distance might be going a bit soft. Please remember to share shooting data.

Nice.
The sky appears to have been darkened esp in the upper left corner.
The reflection is lighter than they sky.

Thanks for all the feedback.

John Labrenz, i get the same feeling about the upper left corner but that was due to clouds that covered the sun on the moutain. As for the reflection that`s a good point.. i`ve used a soft ND here and i could have darkened a bit the reflection in pp.

Will follow your advices.
