Your image certainly expresses the ruggedness and beauty of the landscape. In a perfect world I would like to see a bit more of the distant section of the river. I find my eye wants to go there ,but seems to get lost.

A harsh and rugged environment....good detail
I'm not sure if a polarizer was used, but there is quite bit of glare on the water.
Also some light areas in the trees in the upper right, perhaps evidence of darkening the sky...
