Cracked clay from an ancient lake bed surfaces in several places between the dunes at Mesquite Flat in Death Valley. Combined with the vegetation free sand it gives a very good impression of how dry this place is.
A7, 21/2.8 ZE @ f/11 A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
