I had gone down to Joshua Tree NP for the lunar eclipse, hoping to escape clouds, and managed a little scenery on the side. It was severe clear and VERY hot except for the evening of the eclipse, when it was very hot and partly cloudy. (Fortunately, the deepest part of the eclipse was in between thin fingers of cloud.) This was with the IR converted Canon 5D2 with a little mood enhancement in Photoshop.
