The smoke and haze from the wildfires in the Sierra Nevada are the worst I remember seeing. They make great pastels when the sun is low, though. This one is probably as close as one can get to creating a watercolor with a camera.
Looking south along the east shore (Nevada side) from Sand Harbor toward South Lake Tahoe. A7, 100/2 ZE @ f/5.6 A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
