Same location, and indeed scene as before, and same gear, except off tripod with intentional camera movement - camera held at arm's length and moved up and down vertically.  No digital wizardry involved!  Processed in exactly same way as previous image, except with slighly more agressive sharpening to emphasize streaks.

Cropped to 16x9 to emphasize vertical painterly streaking.  Intending for printing as part of a triptych, to emphasize the wind-blurring effect of the central previously posted non-ICM image; another frame with a different ICM result is intended for the other side.

Nikon D800E / 85PC-E, shifted vertically / Lee 105 cpl
ISO 100 1/8 f/16 handheld

Cheers,
Dave

Love it David!!!
I've tried these many times...some work out nicely, most don't. This is a beauty.
I might be tempted to crop a smidge from the left to minimize the really bright portion...

Many thank indeed.  As you say very much trial and error.  I find the use of a cpl slows the shutter down to the right ball-park, but other than that…
One thing I have found is that holding my arm out stiffly and moving quite slowly in the intended direction makes a lot of difference - you want *some* control over the movement in the finished image.

This would be stunning if printed big and hung on the wall. Great vision and excellent execution!

Very nicely exexuted, the colors work wonderfully together.
