Nikon D800E / 85 PC-E, shifted / Lee 105mm Circular Polarizer
ISO 100 1/4 f/16, tripod

If the shutter speed was fast this could be just a snapshot, but your slow speed introducing a little tasteful movement into the trees makes this image! The longer I look at it, the more I like it!!!

I really like this. Very nicely done. My taste would be probably for 500 degrees warmer white balance but I love it as is.

I too like the hint of movement in this!!!
I'd love to see this same shot with a dark dark sky in the b/g.

Thanks guys. Best place I know of for Silver Birch photography, and plenty of opportunities to return. Like the dark skies idea, though don't really favour EJ's colour temp suggestion since not particularly in keeping with the feel of the location.

This shot is part of a triptych which I may print or frame together, with two ICM shots of the same scene on each side. May post these shortly…

I like this. There is also a nice horizontal in the bottom half of this image.
