Another shot of the Cuillins, a bit later in the day than my previous post of a few weeks ago. This is a cropped version of the image posted in T&C.

Updated to show slight overall increase in contrast, but with just a little bit more on the Cuillins. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Oops, made the mistake of overwriting the original.

Not the best Scottish light here Peter, you got some interesting clouds to liven up the sky, but the overall scene seems a touch flat to me. I would be tempted to re-work this with a little more contrast and saturation on the landscape, as I know how magical the light can be on Skye!

A very beautiful scene, Peter. If you could pull the brights down a little bit in the sky on the left, it would help the image a lot. Truly a great view.

I agree with Carol's view that a little more processing could yield big dividends -- a slight curves adjustment might just the ticket. ;)

Agree with the desire for a bit more contrast....but on a dark b/g the sky looks sweet.

Nice image all by itself, but I like the village-included version better.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Very nice Peter! This image really conveys the vastness of this scene. Beautiful colors and all around awesome image.

Beautiful light on the mountains and the clouds, though I have to agree that a little more editing could really make this pop.
