Lower Antelope Canyon like Upper AC is all about color, shapes and texture. This image is all about shapes and texture and a splash of intrigue.

Yes, great shapes and textures....but, I'd also like to see the color version of this one.

My thoughts too I'm afraid.  This just 'feels' a little flat to me in the b/w whereas the colour versions always appear to show the wonderful depth of these fascinating formations.

I understand your concerns and yes color is the big draw in this environment . However. color was not the mover in this image and therefore I choose to move towards the mystery and drama of the image. As I work more and more with B&W I feel like I am connecting more to the essence of the image and not to the wow of color. Granted,B&W is not always the best presentation, and I am exploring this interpretation at a personal level. Frankly, this is what makes this  subjective perception of an image so valuable.I appreciate your comments.

Very cool shot. I don't recall this exact spot in the lower canyon.
