Tupelo Tree

I found this Tupelo tree while kayaking.  At the time I did not have my camera gear, so I returned later to capture it.  The light turned out really good but the mosquitoes made capturing it a challenge.

Canon 6D
17-40mm lens @17mm
0.4 sec
f/14
ISO 100

Two images focused-stacked for depth of field and then blended another for exposure.

This looks like the perfect breeding ground for mozzies with all that vegetation and unruffled water! I like your perspective with the leading lines of the tree taking the eye into the scene. Beautiful light and spring green colour.

The shadow box view shows the detail much better. Looks so peaceful or at least it would be without the mosquitoes.

Very nice shot and good choice of aperture to bring out the diffraction rays from the sun.

Yes, the detail comes out much better when viewed in the shadowbox.
Wondering if you got a portrait version of this to compare?
