What amazing rock formations Jerry, like prehistoric flying creatures - or even something like Sandhill Cranes! Are these formed by wind/weather erosion? or was this originally under water?

I like your perspective and the depth of the scene!

Caused by erosion of old delta and coal beds that burned. See below for geology.

Looks like a goose in flight being supported by the rock - maybe a bit too much caffeine for me this AM :) Very cool shot.
