Fall in the San Juan Mountains

I was driving south to Durango and made a few stops to catch this changing light. A storm had moved through the area and the openings in the clouds produced some interesting spot light effects. Best viewed on black background.

Gorgeous color in a beautiful area. I think a bit of a contrast curve would serve this one well.

Really nice colors.
A little oversharpened...note the halos at the ridge top.
Yes, a bit more contrast might as EJ mentioned.
