Kalahari Ghost Rain

Ghost rain occurs when it's so hot the rain evaporates before it can hit the ground.
To give you an idea of the extreme conditions of the Kalahari - this was taken 3 minutes after SUNRISE this past December ...
Captured handheld from my SUV - we were on game drive looking for lions and the like

Definitely parched if the rain doesn't get to the ground -- very interesting clouds.
