Another in the series from my recent trip.  Quarry walls stained with algae and nutrients from water draining from moorland above.

Nikon D800E/70-200f4/Lee 105cpl
@130mm, ISO 100 0.3" f/11

Love the rocks and texture but the tree, not as much.

Thanks for the reply, EJ: in fact, you mirror my own thoughts. Trying to find compositions here that worked was a compromise, but I'll definitely be back there, maybe in a few weeks.

Neat textures, lines and colors.
The tree branches...well...in a way they do give contrasting vertical and horizontal lines.
