I understand the appeal of taking images like this, as I fondly remember standing next to many streams on a beautiful sunny day and watching the water glisten and sparkle. It's so hard to capture in a photograph, however, and I'm not sure you managed to do it 100% here. My biggest gripe is the defined linear shadow in the lower right, and also the way some parts are quite sunny and others are in shadow. If it was possible to make this kind of image work, I think some ever so slightly more diffused and evenly dappled light is necessary.

I like this , it's quite different. Some of the shadows are a bit distracting but I love the overall uniqueness of the photo.

I really like the colours, light and water blur in the upper portion of this image but I must admit I find the lower right corner a bit distracting and I'd be tempted to crop up from the bottom just a bit and in from the right a bit.

Hi all,
Thanks for the helpful comments.
The image is unadjusted and uncropped. The light just hit that spot for just a very short time before disappearing behind the clouds. Basically a grab shot!

I like it.
I do agree with the comments regarding the shadow...and I find the reds to be a bit blown.
Still, nice light and water.
