My first post here.. Taken in sand hills north of Perth Western Australia. I was seduced by the beauty of theses dunes, especially after the sun set... Hope you like it.

Hi Don -- I've just started hanging out here too! Wow -- I love this! Gorgeous ripples -- I'm surprised the light after sunset would define them so well. And the bit of sand blowing off the top is a lovely touch.

It reads a bit dark against the white skin here. If there's a way to change it I haven't found it.

Welcome to NSN!

A lovely shot -- nice tonal range, though it looks a trifle dark to me too.

Nice curves...I too like the wind blown top of the dune.
Consideration to cropping the dark angle off the bottom?

Hi John

Thanks for commenting...I did consider cropping this triangle off but couldn't see how to do it without without cramping the lead into the dune from the lower left corner.  I thought retaining this lead was more important than loosing the triangle...  Just my thoughts.. grateful to hear yours..

best regards

Thanks Gary, for the comments and the welcome... A few others had said its slightly dark so I might have to pull it back a bit...

@Don;
Yes, I understand your dilemma here...and agree that doing so would hurt things on the left side.
"darned if you do...and darned if you don't"....LOL
