Sunset in the Valley of Fire

Three images HDR, I liked the foreground rock mass and felt it illustrated  the geological events typical of the Valley.

A very cool scene but the HDR is very noticeable. A significant boost to the contrast, especiall for the land portion of the image would make it look much better IMHO.

This definitely gives a feel for this area. I love these more subtle scenes that can be found in the Valley of Fire. The light is really nice and the layers of clouds are beautiful. I do feel that it's a bit heavy towards the right side of the frame. A couple steps to the right would have brought the jumble of foreground rocks to the left a bit more relative to the background.
