Southern California Swell

Last September there was a very large southerly swell that hit the California Coast.  

Went out originally to shoot the surfers in the morning, but decided to come back at sunset to try again.  

This is what I ended up shooting instead of the surfers.  

D800, Nikkor 24-120.

That is quite the wave!
I esp like the colors on the beach in the f/g right.

You forgot to generate a thumbnail ;) but I fixed that. Gorgeous image. The horizon isn't straight and I think you forgot to turn on lens corrections in your RAW conversion as some pretty hefty pincushion distortion is evident.
