They were giving an inversion this morning at Lake Tahoe. This is only the second one I got to see with my own eyes, the first one being some fifteen years ago. They do happen a little more frequent than that, but it's still a few years between them most of the time.

This is Emerald Bay with Fannette Island on the right just emerging from under the cloud.

A7, 50/1.4 @ f/5.6
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
