"Serendipity"
This is an older image from this past summer that I'm really excited to share. I really like the way this one turned out. The way the cloud on the right is angled inwards to balance and mirror the rocks at the bottom of the frame was quite special.
Techs: Canon 7D, Canon 10-22 @ 13mm. 5 seconds, f/16, ISO 100. Blend of an exposure for land and one for sky. Polarizer.

Good depth and color. For me, the top of the rocks and the first ridge in the distance above the rocks is just a bit too close. I think this is one time when a very slightly higher shooting angle, no more than a couple of inches probably would have been even better to my eyes.

I like the lichen....
I agree with EJ's point about the near merge.

Great idea -- as already noted, the rocks at left center block the distant view. Nice depth.
