Last June I had a chance to spend a couple of days exploring the wonderful Columbia River Gorge, in Oregon. I love waterfalls and will hike long distances to experience and photograph them. One of the most rewarding hikes in the gorge is the hike along Eagle Creek. Among some iconic falls including Punch Bowl and Tunnel falls, there are a myriad of lesser known falls and endless compositions. Here I was able to leave the trail and photograph this cascade, one of many tributaries to Eagle Creek. I have written a new blog post Eagle Creek, Columbia River Gorge that includes more images, information and back story.
