Very nice - glorious light and I like the moodiness of those foreground boulders. I am pleased you resisted the urge to open those shadows :-)

Thanks for nice comments, I use LR5 for RAW-files and I find Highlight/Shadow as very useful tools. On this I used my very old EF24/2.8L who needs a replacement, but still ok on the 5DIII.

Almost worth waiting 2 months for a sunrise. I also like the darkness of the rocks with the shine on them.

Hello, Steinn. Really enjoy this image! The fog along the water is so special, and those big diagonal lines of beautiful but realistic color in the clouds help bring the eye back into the frame. Each element within the composition is weighted well against other elements, resulting in a totally pleasing and natural composition. The dark shadows in the foreground also really help to anchor the image. The icing on the cake, are those incredible peaks far in the distance.
