Having lived in Tibet and SW China for nearly a decade, I am no stranger to big impressive mountains. Now we are back living in Scotland, the hills are not so large, but they are dramatic.

6 weeks in the Canadian Rockies this autumn was a treat and it was super to be back in the big stuff for a while.

This image was taken on our last morning in Mt Assiniboine and I had the pleasure of spending 4 days with Adam Gibbs (great guy).

Great light, impressive landscape - nature throws a free one.

This is a stunningly impressive image. I love the etherial quality to the light in combination with the fog. Just fantastic.

Oh, man. Great atmosphere here.  It reminds me of that shot of yours at Vermillion Lakes with stars.  Great to see you back, and hope to see more new images!  We thought you were lost in some peat bog somewhere, glad to see you back!

LOL - I was nearly lost in a peat bog yesterday as I went groin deep in a bog coming back from exploring a new section of coast. I manage to get back to the car looking like a swamp monster and Juanli looks like she's been to lunch at a fine hotel with a friend!

Good to be back - loads of new images to share.

Composition, light and atmospheric conditions are perfect. The reflection on the water is an additional treat.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Indeed, nature came together for you on this one... and you captured it perfectly. This image just makes me want to be there. Congrats.
