Please view in shadowbox.

A foot of heavy wet snow fell a few days ago here in NW Vermont.  The snow is weighing heavily on the trees.  There is a fair amount of damage here, but it is certainly a beautiful winter wonderland.

Perfect exposure and the like how you composition has captured the textures within the scene.

Nice, yes best viewed in the shadow box.
I like the row of bent bushes that line the bottom frame edge.
Might just want to give a bit of CW rotation to even out the line of snow on the ground.

Thanks John for the suggestion.

Amazingly, the bushes bent over at the bottom are 20-30 foot tall white birch trees. I wish I had had a time lapse set up to record the entire storm.

It sure is pretty, but I don't miss dealing with the snow!

I really like the repetition in the lower branches.
