A day out with a new tilt-shift, and lots of experimentation with abstraction.  Comments most welcome!

This is great as an abstraction. To further that end I would clone out the twigs.

Interesting thought. I had decided to leave the twigs in as a balance against the abstraction (I even decided to selectively sharpen the upper one).

Nice one. I also think that the twigs are necessary

Nice find! I probably would have cloned it at first, but it does seem to balance it out.

Nicely done! The twigs are a perfect foil for the dreamy water.

Really neat abstract.
I am also one who feels the twigs are necessary as points of reference and sharp focus...so, would leave them in.
Any thought to a crop off the bottom to just under the botttom twig?

Thanks for that John, though I'm not quite sure what you mean, I think I'm happy with a square crop on this one so would be tempted to leave the comp alone.

@David;
My thought was to crop the bottom off to just under the whitish area under the right side twig.
Doing so would put that twig into the bottom right hand corner of the frame and eliminate most of the yellow/brownish area which I think distracts somewhat from the image.
Hope that explains it...
