I like the warm and cool colours in this, especially the receding blues along the centre line.
This would look good as a panoramic, excluding some of the sky and water. I would also crop out the rectangular (building?) block on the right hand edge.
Oh, it already seems to be a panoramic.
If this is salinas, I think you mean salt pans, rather than mines.

Love the colours in this.I also think cropping some off the top and bottom would make this into an excellent panoramic shot.
