"Falling Leaves"
I created this image using my focus shifting technique as seen in my previous image, "Dying Flame". In this example, I photographed some floating leaves in a small pool. By focusing first on the distant trees in the canopy above, and then quickly shifting focus closer during the exposure, I was able to tell the story of falling leaves. I love the way it looks as if the photograph was taken looking up into the canopy as autumn leaves tumble down. Comments and critiques always welcomed and encouraged. Let me know how you feel!
Techs: Canon 7D, Canon 70-200 f/4 @ 70mm. 1 second, f/10, ISO 100.

I feel dizzy.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Certainly won't be everyone's cuppa, but I quite like the effect...

Reminds me of stained glass. Very artsy. I like it.

Like the idea, interesting.
For me the right side of the image has lost the blue sky/reflection, seems a bit darker, and overall the leaves need more focus.
But, I think you have a very interesting idea to develop here.
Going to look at dying flame now.
Cheers
Marshall

An interesting and creative effect.
I wish there was some of that nice blue on the right hand side as well.

I feel like I am drowning in a leaf fall - really cool effect.
