Interesting low angle. The water is a bit blue for my taste. Great clouds and perspective.

Good composition and treatment on the water. As is I agree that it's too blue. Perhaps try juicing up the warmer colors on the horizon to balance it out.

very nice the low perspective, I love the water movement. Also I think that the water is a bit blue

Hi Rachel, there is a lot to like about this photograph. The soft texture of the water mirrored by the clouds along the upper edge is certainly my favorite part. Compositionally, I'd like to see some more space on the bottom as it feels quite cut off as is. A bit more breathing room along the bottom would also make the prominent block of land along the left seem a little less huge and jarring. Processing-wise, I think a slight S-curve would be very helpful as this has a bit of an HDR / low contrast look to it. Additionally, it looks like there is some good color back along the horizon but it seems a bit washed out here. Maybe double processing the raw and blending in some bits of color would help.

I like the simplicity and graphic quality of this image.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Thanks all for your feedback. I do agree (now that you pointed it out) that the water is too blue.
I appreciate your comments. They are most helpful...

It took me a few minutes to appreciate this one...at first glance I thought everything was too blurry...as the sky/clouds mimic the water.
Having said that, it does have a calming effect after viewing a bit longer.
I do agree with the excess blue comments and think that careful reprocessing would boost this.
