"Eye of God"
An image from the top of Dolly Sods, West Virginia, this past October. The light broke through for just a second and lit up a small portion of stormy clouds above the ridge.
Techs: Canon 7D, Canon 10-22 @ 10mm. 1/8th second, f/14, ISO 200. Blend of two exposures.

Great foreground. I really like how the red foliage adds to the contrast.

Chris, I really like this image, great foreground and a nice gradual transition into the distant landscape. I glad you were able to get some quality images. For those that have never visited Dolly Sods, this image surely captures the essence of this rugged landscape. I have been there twice and never returned with anything of interest.

Nice technique and an interesting foreground with a great sky. Kudos.

Great colors and depth. A really nice photo and the light, bright cloud adds a lot too.

Great composition and the neutral gray of the rocks makes the colors really pop.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Some nice colour there Chris, and the brooding sky just caps it all off.

HI Chris, this is amongst my favourite images of yours. The composition is nicely seen and composed, the textures and colour palette within the scene work nicely. The sky and the brighter (white) cloud really draws the eye in. All in all, a nicely crafter image.

I really like how the foreground leads to the horizon. The middle reds are stunning.
