Lick of Light

Hopefully, I am not boring people with some of these Irish seascapes. This view is another from Connemara and despite a day of rain, the promised sunshine appeared, lighting up the Irish landscape. 

Compositionally I am in two minds about the image. I like the lick of light on the foreground rock, but Im a tad unsure about the background.

I think if you could move the rock a little lower and to the right, you would create more tension between the FG rock and the BG cloud formation.

I like how you surrounded the rugged rocks - FG as well as BG - with softness.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Those clouds look like a huge wave rolling in!
Agree with Deans critique re the comp.
