Hi Wade! Part of me loves the composition with the tidepool shoreline curving up along the left, but part of me also dislikes the way that all of the rocks, even the sea stacks, are on the right side. It makes the image kind of heavy over there. Processing wise I think this one has a pretty substantial blue cast that I would try to fix. Exposure looks good and natural.

Thanks Chris! I really appreciate all of your thoughtful comments. I'm glad my image inpired you to feel like relplying. I'm also glad you felt the tension in the composition. I find white balance an interesting anomoly in human perception, and often struggle with the color I remember and felt with what others see as an imbalance.

Wonderful location, compositionally I like what are you trying to achieve with the foreground composition. However I do find the rocks on the right hand side which have no separation to the edge of the frame slight uncomfortable. Without sounding like a hippy :) the almost feel like they are taking the energy out of the image.
I do like the sky and reflection.

This is great Wade!
I do agree with Peter's point, although I feel it does not detract too much from this image.

Nice still life.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

It's an excellent Cannon Beach shot with the classic sea stacks. I like the composition although finding an exact location where no rock is cut-off at the edge of the frame would really take it over the top. Personally I'd prefer a slightly warmer white balance.,
