An image captured during a photo workshop I lead in Connemara Ireland. The view looks across bogland towards the Twelve Bens at Sunrise. (best viewed against a dark background.

Really like the foreground and with some additional processing, the sky could be really spectacular. As is, it's overly bright and lacking the detail that's there. Quite a bit of vignetting, perhaps intentional? If not, suggest turning on lens profiles in your RAW conversion software.

I really like the details of the FG. I agree with E.J. in regards to the sky.

The f/g is really beautiful, about the sky I think as E.J.

Thanks for the comments guys. Vignette is deliberate, as for the sky, its been through a few versions, and may revisit the option I have chosen here.

Love the foreground, but the sky needs to be reigned in. It attracts more attention than it deserves.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Hi Peter. In one word, stunning! The subtle backlit nature of the grasses in the foreground leading to the much brighter sky and body of water really make this scene feel very cohesive to me. The composition is subtle and perfect, with the rock leading towards the sun. The distant mountains add a lot to the scene as well. My only suggestion for improvement would be to darken the sky just a touch, maybe 1/3rd of a stop to bring a little more detail to it without losing that bright look.

Lovely scene -- a bit of judicious adjustment of tonal contrast could make it even better.
