Thanks

I got away with the phone since the light was quite even and the sun illuminated the foreground which decreased the dynamic range of the scene. The sky was not too contrasty either, something the iphone camera doesnt deal with very well.

A fantastic composition! Even though the lines all travel past the tree, it still is the prominent object.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Great sky, nice lone tree, nice lines.
Cultivated field makes this a candidate for the T&C gallery...but we will leave it here.

As John said, this probably should be in the Travel and Culture Gallery but it is a very nice shot.

Gorgeous image Jane -- the clouds convey a wonderful sense of apace. Of course this really belongs in the Travel & Culture gallery because of the cultivated field, as John noted.

Nice one Jane! The puffy clouds and the lone tree create a really stunning scene.
