Bosque is one of my favorite places to visit in winter. I have been there many times but every visit has been as exciting as my first visit back in 2006. I had been thinking about this image for some time now... Luckily I got one day when the sky was almost clear and the Milkyway was visible in the star-studded night sky.
This was a 10 minute exposure and I used my car headlights to paint those crane at the very end of the exposure.
Unfortunately wind picked up just after I made this image and I had to pack up for the night. That was my last night in Bosque. Hopfully, I'll be there next year again to try something similar.
Canon 5D Mark III, 24-70mm f/2.8 II.
Fair amount of processing using LR5 and CS 6.
Let me know your thoughts and what can I do to make this better?

Celestial pinstripes, very graphic.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Cool shot and idea. A bit of a clockwise rotation would help it to my eyes.
