Looking at all the B&W challenges going on, I caught the bug. I usually choose a B&W, when I want to draw a viewers attention to the structure or pattern in the image and want to remove any distractions such as color. 

This is a rendition of the first Elakala Falls located in Blackwater State Falls in West Virginia.

Hi there. Great black and white rendition of Elakala Falls. Did you clone out the log at the top? If so, I may see the remnants of the branch protruding down along the upper right side of the falls. I was there a couple days ago and the log seems to have fallen down into the pool below!

This is very nice. I would prefer to see just a slight bit more detail in the darkest shadows.

Nice...perhaps just a hair faster shutter speed to get some more texture.
Good catch on the branches at the top.
