This image is from a set I had taken during my trip to the Blackwater State Park last month. The entire trip was filled with overcast and foggy conditions. While the conditions were great for photographing waterfalls and macro subjects, I had given up all hopes of witnessing a good sunset or sunrise. During the last day of the trip as I was hiking the trails, I noticed the clouds opening up a bit. All excited, I headed out to Lindy Point hoping to create an image close to what I was hoping. As I setup my gear and waited, the clouds opened up just enough to let through the golden rays of sunshine. The moment lasted for a total of 5 mnts.

Hope you enjoy this and appreciate your comments.

I prefer this over your previous post from this location.

Nice shot at Lindy Point. Like John, I too prefer this version. The stronger foreground "anchor" of rocks  does it for me.
