As posted this is super crunchy with lots of artifacts. Seeing this larger with less aggressive compression and sharpening would make me appreciate it more. I like this sort of shot but the way it's presented here doesn't bring out the best of the photo in my opinion.

I really like this one, Glenn. The contrast is superb. I love little intimate studies in detail and this satisfies my desires perfectly. I do wish you had uploaded it a bit larger! I love the way the small bright leaves seems to float like falling snowflakes. My one nit is that I find the trunk on the left to be a bit too prominent. Overall, really enjoying looking at this one.
