We saw a lot of glaciers on our recent trip to Alaska, and none of them more spectacular than John Hopkins Glacier in Glacier Bay National Park. This was our 5th new USA National Park on this trip, and leaves us with only 3 more to go to complete the full 59 parks. This day started wet and grey, luckily by the time we had made it half way to this glacier (its the all day boat trip you can take from the Visitor Centre) the conditions opened up and gave us some spectacular sights.

Beautiful! Love the contrast between the glaciers on the mountain and the one emptying into the bay.

Nice.
Seeing a slight magenta cast overall.

Sounds like quite the National Park Adventure.  Which ones are left?

Great scene, looks perhaps a bit contrasty to my eyes.

EJ, the 3 left are all in Alaska - Kobuk Valley, Gates of the Arctic and the finale at Denali!
