Hi,

This is my first post, I've been a member for quite a while but for some reason haven't got around to sharing anything, better late than never as they say :)

This ones from a recent trip to Cornwall, a few minutes after sunset is one of my favourite times for photography, hunting around for a composition I finally settled on this one drawn by the reflected light in the pools and the textures of the rock with the lighthouse as background.

Thanks for looking and any feedback very welcome,
Paul.

It's a beautiful photo. The lighthouse is small enough to be OK for the Landscapes gallery. If it were a more prominent part of the picture it should go in Travel and Culture. Well done and welcome aboard.

Nicely seen and captured. Might be fun to play with this in B&W also.

Welcome!!!

Welcome to Naturescapes!
Yes, the lighthouse is small enough in the frame to allow it to remain in landscapes...and in fact, I find it serves as a good anchor in this photo.
Well done...let's see some more!

I love the subdued colour in the sky. Nice FG as well.
