I saw an image of Punchbowl Falls yesterday in a way I hadn't seen before. In talking with the photographer, it was taken very early in the morning. The mood was dark and interesting. So, I took another look at my own images of the same location and worked to bring the same out.

Very curious to hear any thoughts or critiques.

I like the mood very much Dave -- I might consider getting a little more detail in the deepest shadows.

Hi Dave

Wonderful image with the white on the dark...Works well. You have a blue cast in the water and a hint more detail in the very darks would appeal more to me..

Yes, moody and mysterious.
Also note a blueish cast and would like to see the shadows opened up.
