This image was taken near Ridgeway, Colorado at sunset.  It had been pretty clear skies all evening.  I had given up hope for some color in the sky.  Just as the sun began to set, clouds appeared adding some nice color.  I wish that I could have captured this in the fall.  The color would have been much nicer.

Canon EOS 6D

It is a stitch of 6 images vertically.

Very nice scene. Hope you get a chance to go back in the fall. You are right, this would be awesome in foliage. I like the color in the sky here to balance with all the green.

Nice comp. The wedge of clouds seam to mimic the valley floor.

Very nice. The clouds really make it for me too.

I love how the clouds are in the saddle and reverse mimic the shape. Nice!
