Pinnacle Rock rises 30m (98ft) above the dense fern clad Driekop gorge It is made from a rock called quartzite which was originally sandstone, it has been compressed for thousands of years to form a very durable rock that is resistant to erosion.Mpumpalanga,South Africa.

An interesting formation. I think a slightly less centered composition and opening up the deep shade would take it to the next level.
