End of August 2014 right at when the sun split the horizon to the right of the frame.
Canon 1dMIII, 16mm of Canon16-35mm, f/8, 3 shot Photomatix Fusion/Natural blend of .1,.2, and .4 sec, at ISO 200.

Neat shot, the OOF foreground plant at the bottom is a bit distracting, and maybe I would knock down the saturation down a notch or two as its a bit colorful as it stands. Beautiful landscape though!

Dramatic and well composed landscape. The colors are a bit over the top, but different strokes for different folks as they say.

I like all of the texture and the great color. The land is too bright in my opinion given the low sun and the shadows aren't deep enough giving it a surreal and HDR like look. That said I do like it a lot but I think a little more work could make it even better.

I do agree about the super saturated surreal look. I've always liked too much color :) Here is a more subdued look from just the 1/5 sec exposure.
