Hey E.J.! I dig the photo overall, but the sharp lines of the edge of the dune and the "totem" competing in perpendicular fashion kind of bug me compositionally. I imagine a sweeping line leading up to the totem being a lot more pleasing for me, personally. The light is spectacular, and really emphasizes those ripples in the sand. I do like the way the curve in the lower portion of the dune is a mirror of the shape of the darker cloud. A nice image that makes me wish I was there, but a bit hard to get past the sharp angles for me :)

Great composition with colors that are strong, yet natural looking.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
