The Moment

I really had to wait for this moment. Because topography is not factored into the sunrise timetable I am using, the sun appeared more than 20 minutes later than predicted. And since I arrived early to make sure I don't miss the crack of dawn at this spot, the total wait came to a little over two hours.

EOS 5D2, 50/1.4 ZE @ f/16
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
